Today is yesterday !
Auckland-Apia
Kristy, Filia and Va took us to the airport and farewelled us before taking off for the islands.
The flight was a nice and quick one. To us, a 4-hour flight means going up, having lunch and coming down ... a blink of an eye compared to our previous 12-hour flights ! Plus Yéléna slept most of the way.
We soon were able to see the islands of Samoa.
And smoothly landed on Pai's home soil.
Here we are ... back to Samoa !

Mount Eden
Before our departure for Samoa, we went to Mount Eden where we had a beautiful view over Auckland. For once, the sun was out but the wind reminded us that it was winter. Nevermind the cold, we had a very nice time there.
Campus East Chef
Some of you who read this blog studied with us in Australia and stayed at Campus East, the uni residence where Pai and I were living. Well, you might then be able to recognise Yvonne, who used to be Campus East Chef.
It seems hard to believe but we met Yvonne during our stay in Auckland because she is now married to Pai's uncle ... it's definitly a small world !!!
Since Yvonne remembered us, we got to talk about our time in Aussie and Campus East :-)

Off to Samoa
It's our last night in New Zealand before leaving for Samoa. We had a very good week here spending time with friends and family.Tomorrow, our flight leaves at 9:40am and arrives in Samoa at 2:35pm.
We won't be able to update the blog everyday while we are in Samoa but stay tuned, we'll keep you posted regularly.
A huge thank you to aunty Becca and Kristy for having us at their place, taking care of us and and taking us around + Sunita and Va for spending time with us and taking care of the girls ... see you in 4 weeks !!!
