We couldn't leave Samoa without going back to Lalomanu!
On the way, we stopped at Papapapaitai falls
then Togitogigta falls
and we arrived at Lalomanu where we spent the day with Jacky and Baby, 2 cousins of Pai's.
We also met Mepa there who used to study with us in Australia.

Rugby
Last saturday it was the final of the National Provincials Championship (NPC) Apia vs Apia West. The NPC, it's the best players of each village playing for their "provinces".
I wanted Apia to win so of course Apia West won ! It was a good game with a few world cup players and of course, some really good tackles.
In the stand, Brian Lima was there (he's gonna play his 5th world cup this year), along with Semo Setiti (Samoa's captain) or Michael Jones (Samoa's coach and former legendary All Black).
Here are a few pictures (Apia in green and Apia West in blue).
Bathroom
Now that we have enjoyed reunions, beach, waterfalls, rest and strolls, it was time to start improving the bathrooom !!!
We decided to put tiles in the shower because before, it looked like this:
Smile first ...
... then concentrated ...
... even Caitlyne gave us a hand !
Here is the final result (before, during and after the work)
And we finished with the sink
It's time to go back to the beach :-)

Snorkelling
What else is better than snorkelling among the multicolored corals and fishes of the Pacific ocean ??? That would be taking your 4 and a half year old daughter with you to make her see all those beautiful things for herself.
It was great taking Caitlyne snorkelling. She didn't want to go at first coz she was scared of looking down in the water and breathing with a snorkel.
But after making her feel confident slowly and gently, she was beside me, looking underwater, breathing normally, holding my hand, enjoying herself and loving it ... it was just great !!!

Lalomanu
Lalomanu is THE beach. White sand, clear water at 25°C, fales (small wooden houses) by the sea, the dream for anybody coming from a Western country, who likes the beach :)
So we settled ourselves down for 2 nights (from friday to sunday) in a fale facing the sea ...
... and a small island.
Then, it's time to go for a swim.
At night, sunset on the water
And diner
The following day, kayaking to keep fit
With Yéléna watching :)
We spent the rest of the time swimming, resting and strolling by the sea
Despite this heavenly scene, we must admit there's a little drawback ... more and more tourists and fales!!!!
We hope that samoa will somehow keep it's simple life in spite of everything, which makes it a magical place.
See what I mean :)
